The iPAL ordering system was specifically designed to make a retailers ordering process smooth and quick. The iPAL is a laser scanner / handheld computer system that is used to quickly scan a products SKU code and enter it into an order worksheet.
The iPAL is wirelessly connected to the internet to the OrderDog iPortal. Using the iPortal, retailers now have a completely unified and simple ordering system. Retailers can now literally walk down each aisle of their store, scan products they want to order, type in a quantity, and move on down the aisle. No more need to input products from a specific vendor, then move on to the next vendor - retailers can just scan anything and everything.
Once the desired products have been scanned, the retailer can simply log on to iPortal, review the order, and then submit it. That's all. It's as easy as Scan - Review - Send.
